Remodelling with purpose

Every project begins with an inspection of the garment, its construction, and the requested fit or redesign. That review helps define what can be changed, what should stay, and which details may limit the final result.

For remodelling work, we may reshape dresses and skirts, restyle shirts and jackets, or update the fit of vintage pieces. If the fabric allows it, we can also turn usable material into accessories that extend the life of the original garment.

Elegant Stitch works with pieces that still have good fabric, structure, or meaning worth preserving.

Before any additional work begins, the concept and scope are approved first. This keeps the process clear and ensures the finished piece reflects the agreed direction rather than a last-minute change.

At collection, the garment is checked again so the final fit or finish can be reviewed carefully. Small adjustments may be handled then if needed, while keeping the approved design intact.
